Old MacDonald's Farm

We spent the day at Old MacDonald's Farm while in South Dakota. They had tons of baby animals, a train, goats walking across 20 foot high bridges, pony rides, and the best..... pig races. In case you have never seen a pig race, I added video. This is high quality entertainment.

Storybook Island

Storybook Island was my absolute favorite park as a kid (probably because it was free) so I had to take my kids there while we were in Rapid City.





Yes, there is firemen incorporated in everything we do.

More Vacation Photos - Mt. Rushmore

I think that it is actually illegal to visit the Black Hills and not go to Mt. Rushmore (or Mountain Rush-a-more, as Courtney says). Since I am one to always abide by the rules, we took the kids for a closer look. (Ignore the date on these vacation photos. The kids like to play with my camera and now I am going to be all screwed up 10 years from now if I ever decide to add photos to their baby books.)

My Baby is 5!

Jacob turned 5 on July 5th. I can't believe that he will be in kindergarten in just a couple of weeks! Since he loves firemen, he had a fireman birthday party.
